MDM Overview

With our Master Data Management solution you get a headstart for your centralized data management.
You can get to work immediately and can focus on your data.

Keep it simple, start small

Master Data Management is often offered as a very complex solution with many components that require a significant team with technical knowledge to set up and manage it. This fact deters many organizations from considering a solution for Master Data Management.
The main goal of Master Data Management is to keep your master data consistent and to use it consistently within the organization.
The most important principle when you start with Master Data Management is: keep it simple.
Start small and determine which are your most important Master Data. Form a team with people from the organization who know by whom and for what purpose this Master Data is used. It is these people who can determine the characteristics of and the rules for Master Data within the organization.

Insight and validation

One of the key points of master data management is to ensure that correct and validated data is made available to the organisation. Our Master Data Management solution has a number of functionalities that can help you achieve this goal.
An Approval Workflow that supports the four-eyes-principle ensures that all changes to the data are validated by appointed users. These changes include data rows that have been marked for deletion.
A complete Audit trail shows all the changes that have been made per individual data row giving you insight into the lifecycle of your data.
Long-term data retention stores backup files and audit logs for a period of up to 10 years.
With Changesets - one of our branch types - changes are entered but stored separately and are only committed in the entity after validation.

Individual database with unlimited data storage

Every customer, regardless of the selected subscription, has its own database and unlimited number of data rows which is rather unique as this is mostly only available in subscriptions for large enterprises.
Having your own database offers several advantages:

  • The highest level of security
  • No risk of data exposure to third parties
  • Optimal performance
  • Individual backup and restore options
